SDTPT focuses on exposing teachers who work in schools outside Kathmandu Valley to important aspects of child-centered methodologies. This ten-month training has three distinct phases: an initial two-month residential immersion, eight months of guided practice at the trainees’ own schools, and a final two-week residential follow-up before trainees are certified. Another STTPT model consists of a one-month course at the training center followed by five months in the field, and then another round of the same.
